We do not know how the latest Supreme Court ruling will affect tariffs, but as it is implement, they will be calculated automatically at checkout, and paid through our courier contracts. As a result, you will not be charged any more than what you pay through us (we will take care of any unexpected charges).
The current situation is that tea is not charged for the "reciprocal" tariff of 15% unless it is flavored (and there is a general 6.4% tariff on flavored green tea). We report the tariff code for green tea as 0902.10.9050 which should exempt it from the reciprocal tariff and the flavored green tea (0902.10.10. The generic six digit code 0902.10 defaults to this flavored green tea code, so exporters need to be careful).
The reciprocal tariff stuck down, but a new 10% tariff seems to have replaced it somehow. We will try to stay updated, and the system will automatically update according to rules set out by the US government.
